WHY HANDS & PAWS?
We believe good training comes down to the fundamentals.
Clear communication. Structure. Consistency.
We look at the whole dog, the person on the other end of the leash, and what training needs to look like in real life.
Because our goal isn't to make you dependent on a trainer.
It's to give you the skills and confidence to keep moving forward together.

The People Behind the Training
Our team brings experience across professional dog training, veterinary medicine, large animal care, dog sports, animal rescue, working dogs, and professional animal care.
Led by nearly a decade of professional dog training experience and more than 15 years working with animals, we take a whole dog approach to training and care.
We believe good training comes down to strong fundamentals, clear communication, consistency, and follow through.
Our goal is simple. Help you understand your dog, feel confident moving forward, and enjoy more of life together.
WE BELIEVE
Life with your dog shouldn't feel isolating.
We are a relationship based training company. We believe your dog should listen to you, but we also believe training should help you understand each other and build a relationship that works in real life.
You shouldn't feel held captive by your dog's behavior. You shouldn't be embarrassed to go for a walk, afraid to have people over, or feel like leaving your dog home is your only option.
We know how easy it is for your world to slowly get smaller when you're constantly planning around what your dog might do.
We want to help you change that.
Not by chasing perfection, but by helping you and your dog build the skills and trust to do more, experience more, and actually enjoy your life together without a ton of micromanagement.
